Recommended Setup

For easy navigation when executing actions, it is best that you configure the settings marked as ~Recommended. These settings allow you to bring up certain custom properties to the UI so that you can easily identify the segments.

Custom property ID

Select the primary custom property you want to display when you manually execute actions via file upload. Tip: Choose the unique identifier of your items (in this example, it's the Invoice number).

NOTE: Only custom properties of type ID can be used as a primary identifier on display. You will need the custom property code as defined in your Item Meta.

Identifier label

Enter the label or column name you want to display the Custom property ID you have selected from the setting above. Tip: Use the same custom property name.

Custom properties exported in CSV

Select the custom properties you want to include when you download the items as part of executing actions via file upload:

  • Only the above (if set) - Above refers to the Custom Property ID. If it is defined, export this property only.
  • All - export all custom properties that were specified upon booking.

Display properties exported in CSV

Select the display properties you want to include in the downloaded CSV file. Display properties are those that are defined in Settings > Meta > Item Meta > Display tab:

  • None - do not export any of the display properties.
  • All - export all display properties.

Acknowledgement Settings

The Acknowledgement settings are designed for special use cases wherein the operator uses a mix of Task System and Generic Connector. The default setting is No. Please consult your enterprise administrator before making any changes.

If you are using HTTP mode and have enabled the outbound communication, these settings will be overridden by the HTTP outbound settings.

Automatically acknowledge created segments

When an item is booked, allow the system to automatically acknowledge the segments without a user having to download and acknowledge them manually through the web portal. This will cause the items to skip the Created tab and go straight to Active tab.

Automatically acknowledge cancelled segments

When a Cancel action is performed on a segment, allow the system to automatically acknowledge cancelled segments without a user having to download and acknowledge them manually through the web portal. This will cause the items to skip the Cancelled tab and go straight to Closed tab. Note that Cancel can only be done to segments that have not started.

Automatically acknowledge invalidated segments

When an exception action is performed on a segment and causes it to be invalidated, allow the system to automatically acknowledge the actions without a user having to download and acknowledge them manually through the web portal. This will cause the items to skip the Cancelled tab and go straight to Closed tab.
